Maps, Parking, Shuttle

Parking for Commencement is free at all Campus parking lots on Sunday, December 17.  You can view a map of campus parking lots to assist with your planning.

A complimentary commencement shuttle will be available on Sunday, December 17 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will stop at all blue Madison Metro Bus Stops along Dayton Street and University Avenue, from Union South to the Kohl Center.  You can view a campus map for more information.

Accessible Parking for Kohl Center

Accessible parking at the Kohl Center is limited and is on a first come first served basis. Please note that disabled plates and cards are required to secure space in lots reserved for accessible commencement parking.

The best lot with ADA stalls will be Lot 48. It has more ADA stalls than Lot 91, and it will be staffed by Transportation Services staff. Guests will not need a special permit; just the standard disabled plates or hang-tag. For those who don’t have disabled plates, or who can’t get an ADA staff but can’t walk long distances, may want to take advantage of the accessible drop-off location on Dayton Street.

Accessible Drop-off Locations & Mobility assistance

The drop-off location for the Kohl Center is on Dayton Street directly in front of the building at Gate A. Guest services personnel will have wheelchairs available for transportation from the Dayton Street drop-off location to the Kohl Center seating area.  Wheelchairs are for transportation purposes only and cannot be used for patron seating during the ceremony. Anyone in need of wheelchair services can Guest Services at (608) 263-5645 on the day of the ceremony.
