Maps, Parking, Shuttle


Parking for Commencement is free at all Campus parking lots from noon on Friday, May 11 through 6 p.m. Sunday, May 13.  You can view a map of campus parking lots to assist with your planning.


A complimentary commencement shuttle will be available on Saturday, May 12 to transport participants and guests around campus. The shuttle will operate every 10 minutes from from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The shuttle buses are wheelchair accessible. You can view a map of the shuttle routes for more information.

Accessible Parking for Kohl Center

Accessible parking at the Kohl Center is limited and is on a first come first served basis. Please note that disabled plates and cards are required to secure space in lots reserved for accessible commencement parking.

The best lot with ADA stalls will be Lot 48. It has more ADA stalls than Lot 91, and it will be staffed by Transportation Services staff. Guests will not need a special permit; just the standard disabled plates or hang-tag. For those who don’t have disabled plates, or who can’t get an ADA staff but can’t walk long distances, may want to take advantage of the accessible drop-off location on Dayton Street.

Accessible Drop-off Locations & Mobility assistance

The drop-off location for the Kohl Center is on Dayton Street directly in front of the building at Gate A. Guest services personnel will have wheelchairs available for transportation from the Dayton Street drop-off location to the Kohl Center seating area.  Wheelchairs are for transportation purposes only and cannot be used for patron seating during the ceremony. Anyone in need of wheelchair services can Guest Services at (608) 263-5645 on the day of the ceremony.

Accessible Parking for Camp Randall Stadium

All parking lots are free on campus during commencement weekend, and wheelchair accessible shuttle buses will be available on the free shuttle routes. Guests with limited mobility should also review the information regarding accessible drop-offs and mobility assistance on this page.

Accessible Drop-off Locations & Mobility assistance

If you or someone in your group has limited mobility, please use the designated drop-off areas:

Corner of Regent Street and Breese Terrace
University Avenue and Breese Terrace
Monroe Street near Gate 1

Golf cart shuttle stops are present at all of these locations, with shuttles running on an as needed basis from drop off areas to the stadium. Due to the magnitude of the event, please be patient with shuttle service, as delays may be experienced. To assure the best service, please plan on arriving to the event early for shuttle service to avoid delays. Note that golf cart shuttle rides are not able to be scheduled due to the high demands of shuttle service, however shuttles will be constantly running to best provide for guests. Golf cart shuttles are only able to run within the limits of the immediate Camp Randall area. If additional accommodations are needed to get to seats once inside the stadium, please see below under Guest Services.

Guest Services

Guest Services staff, wearing bright yellow vests, will be available at gates and accessible drop-off points to assist in transporting guests to seating areas within the stadium. Golf carts and wheelchairs will be available on-site for assistance. Wheelchair escorts are available inside the stadium throughout the event. Guest Service staff will have wheelchairs with them, but the wheelchairs will stay with the staff as they need them to assist other people. The staff will be very busy commencement day, so please be patient as you may have to wait to be assisted. Please refer to our Accessibility Drop-Offs and Mobility section for further information.

No storage is available at Camp Randall for wheelchairs, walkers, motorized carts, or any other type of mobility device, including strollers. Please plan ahead as these devices cannot be stored on the concourse.
