College of Agricultural and Life Sciences

CALS will hold an in-person Winter 2021 Pre-Commencement Celebration for CALS graduates on Sunday, December 19th from 8:00-9:30 am in The Nicholas Club at the Kohl Center. More information and additional department activities can be found on our commencement website. An email invitation will be sent to CALS grads in early December.

College of Engineering

The Dept. of Chemical and Biological Engineering will be celebrating December graduates with a lunch and program on Sunday, December 19, 12:30 – 2:30 pm at Union South ( 1308 West Dayton St. Madison, WI 53715). The event will take place after Commencement at the Kohl Center. All parking lots are free during commencement weekend, and additional transportation information will be made available closer to graduation. Family members and guests are welcome to attend. Graduates have been sent RSVP forms to complete which include information on the number of guests they are inviting. Please contact your graduate for more information. The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and Geological Engineering program invites graduates and their guests to breakfast in the Engineering Hall lobby on Sunday, December 19, before commencement at the Kohl Center. A casual continental breakfast will be served from 8am to 9:30 am, and this event is free for graduating students and their guests to attend. College of Letters & Science Winter 2021 Commencement

The College of Letters & Science will hold an in-person Winter 2021 Pre-Commencement Celebration for L&S graduates and their families on Saturday, December 18 from 6:00pm-7:00pm in Union South. Take a study break and celebrate! Graduating Nelson Institute students are invited to stop by room 140 in Science Hall from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, December 16 (student study day). Grab a hot cup of cocoa, coffee or cider, take photobooth pictures, enjoy sweet treats, and enjoy well-earned time with your peers. Bucky Badger and Dean Paul Robbins will make a special appearance at 3 p.m. Make sure to pick up a special commencement gift as well. Hope to see you there!

The School of Education’s Winter Commencement Breakfast will be held on Sunday, December 19 at the Great Hall in Memorial Union from 8am to 10am. Visit our event page for more information and a link to the registration page.
