Senior Class Office

About the Senior Class Office

The senior class officers comprise two elected officers, the president and vice president, and four selected positions: communications; events; philanthropy; and a Winter Grad Chair. Elections and interviews took place in the spring semester prior to the beginning of their service in the fall of their senior year.

As part of Student Affairs, the officers also partner with the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA) and the Office of the Chancellor. Senior class officers help plan Winter and Spring Commencement, as well as senior social events.

The Open Seat at UW

Many UW–Madison students face difficult choices between meeting everyday needs and focusing fully on their education. The Open Seat Food Pantry exists to ensure students have access to nutritious food in a supportive and dignified environment. The UW–Madison Senior Class Gift supports this mission by strengthening food access on campus and supporting fellow Badgers during moments of need. Your gift makes an immediate and meaningful difference by helping sustain a resource many students depend on.
