Genesis Liriano

Winter Grad Chair

Growing up in New York City helped Genesis Liriano develop a sense of wanting to create community and spaces of inclusion. At UW–Madison, she has studied education policy and community and organizational development, while also earning certificates in history and environmental studies. Genesis also worked in both research and student services while participating on multiple executive boards and committees focused on culture and sustainability. In her role as winter grad chair, she emphasized what it means to be a Badger in all its different forms and how students can prepare for the world beyond the university.
