Biography

Originally from Canada and now proudly representing Minnesota, Olakunle serves as senior class vice president. His journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to leadership, inclusion, and student advocacy. While pursuing a kinesiology major with certificates in health policy and gender and women’s studies, Olakunle has served as president of the African Student Association and on the undergraduate studies committee in the Department of Kinesiology, where he worked closely with students, faculty, and administration to enhance the student experience. His past leadership includes serving in the BLK PWR Coalition and as president of the Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. These experiences have equipped Olakunle with the tools to help foster a senior year designed to be inclusive and impactful for every student.
